About the Artist

Nicole Plockmeyer was born and raised in Chester County, Pennsylvania. At an early age she was influenced and encouraged by her love of wild places and the spectacular beauty nature evokes. Pursing a career in Marketing, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree from Messiah University, it would be years later that she would develop a true passion for the arts, drawing inspiration from artists, Robert Lougheed, Julius Paul Junghanns, and Mathias Alten. A mom of three small children, Nicole intends to further her career in art by painting the rich landscapes surrounding her home while developing her growth as a pet portrait artist. Self-taught, Nicole is constantly exploring new techniques and ideas for her personal art development. Painting is an integral part of her creative identity. Her journey is both enriching and rewarding, resonating with her need to create something beautiful and leave the world a better place.
